Provisioning of Consultancy Services of  Solar Energy Installed in FATA

FATA is one of the most energy deficient and backward regions of Pakistan. A large number of remotely located villages in FATA are without electricity. Kerosene lamps used for night time lighting produce undesirable gases and pollutants which are harmful for the humans and also damage the environment. Another big issue is the availability of clean drinking water close to the villagers as women need to travel for hours to fetch water to fulfill their family requirements.
FATA Development Authority (FDA) envisioned that provision of grid electricity to the remote villages and providing amenity of clean drinking water through conventional means is not possible. In order to minimize the climates of residents of these villages and to give them access to these very basic amenities, FDA designed a project to provide Solar lighting and Solar water drinking solution to the dwellers of these villages. The project has been designed to be implemented in different phases.
